Forestville RSL Club Members Vote ‘Yes’ for Redevelopment

We are thrilled to share that the Members of Forestville RSL Club have voted overwhelmingly in favour of the proposed redevelopment last night, marking a momentous step for the Club's future.

At the Club’s Special General Meeting (SGM), attended by 317 members last night, 71% (226) of voting members cast their votes, voting ‘yes’ in support of proceeding with the redevelopment.

Members were asked to vote whether the Club’s Land, which is currently core property of the Club, could become non-core property of the Club for the duration of the development and then at the completion of the development, the property occupied by the new club premises could be returned to being core property.

The result highlights the collective commitment of members to ensuring the Club remains a successful, vibrant and thriving hub for generations to come.

The redevelopment plan is designed to enhance the Club's facilities and services, aligning with our vision to provide an exceptional experience for our members and visitors. By investing in the redevelopment, the Club aims to meet both current and future needs while creating a lasting legacy.

This resounding vote of support reflects our members dedication to the future of our Club. Together, we are embarking on an exciting new chapter that will benefit both our members and the broader community."
