August 2024 Update

We’re pleased to update that there has been substantial progress by the project team on the Development Application (DA) for the redevelopment of the Forestville RSL Club over the last month.

As a result of the great collaboration and determination demonstrated by our project team, the Club is currently on track to submit our application by mid-September.

A key focus over the last few weeks has been engaging with an extensive range of consultants to determine the best design outcome for our club given its location in Forestville. Examples of consultants we have engaged include surveyors, town planning, civil and stormwater, landscape design, arborists, traffic, acoustic and geotech engineers all of whom have been able to assist us in providing the high level of detailed assessment and reporting required as part of the DA process.

Importantly, through this process we have further strengthened the quality of our redevelopment, ensuring that it will offer fantastic new facilities to our highly valued members as well a new luxury boutique retirement community for seniors in our local area.

Naming Competition Reminder

In the meantime, we would like to remind you all that there are still a few weeks left for you to participate in our Heart of Forestville Naming Competition. We’ve been thrilled with the response to date but would like to encourage even more submissions to be sent in.

In line with the club’s values of giving back to the local community, each lucky winner will be rewarded with a $500 donation from the club to their nominated local community group or charity.

Key areas we’re seeking suggestions for include Buildings 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Boutique retirement living community.

o   Name suggestion, and reason why
