September 2024 Update

September has been a busy month, with a number of notable achievements relating to the redevelopment of the Forestville RSL Club.

Highlights for the month have included the submission of our Development Application (DA) for the redevelopment of the Forestville RSL Club to the Northern Beaches Council.

We have also been thrilled with the number and quality of entries received from our local community and club members for our Heart of Forestville Naming Competition and we thank all those who submitted an entry.

Our judging panel had the privilege of reviewing more than 50 suggested names for the four buildings proposed in our new retirement community and had a hard time deciding on the final 12 shortlisted names.

Naming Competition Voting Now Open

We would now like to give our members and the local community the chance to vote for their favourite name amongst the shortlisted options by voting for their favourite name on our Heart of Forestville website by clicking here.

With some terrific suggestions, we look forward to hearing from our club and community members which name they’d like to vote for! Our winners will be announced at the start of December and prizes awarded to the community group or charity nominated by our valuable contributors.

As always, we encourage our members and local community to reach out to us if they have any questions via www.heartofforestville.com.au .

We look forward to keeping you updated on our progress in the months and years ahead.

Regards,

Tony Mooney, President and Ian Thomson, CEO
Forestville RSL
